Privacy Policy

Our website address is: https://painttheparty.art

Paint the Party Mobile Art Studio ("Paint the Party," "we," "us," or "our") provides mobile, hosted painting and art experiences for corporate teams, private parties, senior living communities, libraries, and community groups throughout the Greater Phoenix area. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, quote forms, email/text marketing, and event bookings, and how we use it.

If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us at Lesa.PainttheParty@gmail.com or (602) 622-5891.

Quote and Booking Forms

When you request a quote or book an event through one of our forms (our general quote form or our corporate pricing form) or by phone or email, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, organization (if applicable), event details (date, location, group size, project type), and any other details you choose to share. We use this information to prepare quotes, plan and staff your event, communicate with you about your booking, and process invoices and payments.

Payments

Invoicing and payment processing (deposits and balances) are handled through Square. We do not collect or store your full payment card information on our website — that is handled directly by Square under its own privacy and security practices.

Email and Text (SMS) Marketing

If you sign up for our mailing list (including through our "Want Access to Exclusive Deals?" sign-up form) or opt in to text messages (for example, by texting our ACCESS keyword), we collect your email address and/or phone number so we can send you promotions, event announcements, and updates. We use Klaviyo, a third-party marketing platform, to manage and send these communications and to understand engagement (such as opens and clicks) so we can improve what we send.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, and you can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect any event booking or transactional communications related to a scheduled event.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don't have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.

Our email and text marketing platform (Klaviyo) may also use cookies or similar tracking technology on our site to recognize returning visitors and connect website activity (such as form sign-ups) to a subscriber's marketing profile.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles or pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, or forms — including our Google Forms quote requests). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor had visited the other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who We Share Your Data With

Depending on how you interact with us, your information may be shared with the following service providers, solely to help us run our business:

  • Klaviyo — email and SMS marketing delivery
  • Square — payment processing and invoicing
  • Google (Forms, Calendar, Workspace) — quote form submissions, event scheduling, and email communication
  • com / Automattic — website hosting
  • Automated spam detection services — for comments left on the site

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How Long We Retain Your Data

  • Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.
  • Booking and quote information is retained for as long as needed to fulfill your event and for our business, tax, and accounting records.
  • Marketing email and SMS contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or opt out, or until you request deletion.

Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have left a comment, submitted a quote request, booked an event, or subscribed to our email or SMS list, you can request:

  • An exported copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • That we correct inaccurate data we hold about you
  • That we erase personal data we hold about you (this does not include data we're required to keep for administrative, legal, tax, or security purposes)

To make any of these requests, email Lesa.PainttheParty@gmail.com.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Marketing data is processed by Klaviyo (email/SMS), payment data by Square, and form/scheduling data through Google's services, each under their own privacy policies.

This policy is provided as a general template based on how Paint the Party collects and uses information and is not a substitute for legal advice. Because requirements for SMS marketing (TCPA), email marketing (CAN-SPAM), and state privacy laws can vary and change, we recommend having this reviewed by an attorney before relying on it as your final, published policy — particularly the sections on text messaging consent.
